High Street and Botanical Gardens

On this day we walked down High Street to the Botanical Gardens. By this stage the heat wave, which people in my home country (traditionally including myself) tend to mock, was in full swing, and remains so. The temperature reaches between 28-32 degrees Celsius every day, and continues to remain so, with no rain. This day felt hot.

I believe this is the town's oldest tree.

This mossy growth evokes Jeff Vandermeer's Southern Reach.

Rotten to the core.

Placing a filter on my camera for a 'vintage' effect.
