As noted, the weather had been hot. So hot that when we returned from the seaside we found this candle a melted wreck.
We went to the Ashmolean Museum, our youngest somewhat reluctantly, and collected drawing paper and pencils at the entrance. We sketched various paintings and objects, giving ourselves challenges like 'draw as best you can in only 1 minute'.
This figure was an object I chose to sketch.
This sword was nominated by our youngest.
